Iberia Plus is currently running an exciting promotion. The Oneworld frequent flyer program is offering many award flights with a 60% discount. Taxes and fees are not reduced, but fortunately, fuel surcharges are comparatively low.
The offer is valid until November 16, 2025, for travel until December 31, 2025. While similar promotions in the past were targeted at specific members, this time it appears that all users can access it.

The offer comes with two very attractive sweet spots: European business class flights from/to Spain are available for just 6,600 Avios + €24 per direction. In addition to that, long-haul economy tickets start at just 6,400 Avios + €59. You can also find reduced award prices for short-haul economy class.
The discount applies only to flights operated by Iberia, Iberia Express or Air Nostrum. Many long-haul routes are indeed reduced by 60%. Ultimately, trial and error helps, especially since prices vary by date. Here are some examples we found (one-way prices):
- Long-haul Economy Class (cabin bag only):
- San Juan (Puerto Rico) → Madrid for 6,400 Avios + €59
- Madrid → Mexico City for 8,000 Avios + €125

- Los Angeles → Madrid → Hamburg for 10,600 Avios + €106
- Santo Domingo → Madrid → Düsseldorf for 10,600 Avios + €140

You can find more routes with a 10% or 30% discount on Iberia’s website. Here is a map with all discounted destinations:
Feel free to use our Go2 tool to search for discounted tickets on Iberia Plus. You can also go directly to Iberia’s website to compare award and cash prices.
Transferring Avios to Iberia Plus
You can transfer Avios between all affiliated programs that use Avios (Finnair, Iberia and Qatar Airways) to the British Airways Club. From there, you can transfer them to any other program without losing value. So while a direct transfer from Finnair or Qatar Airways won’t work, it works when sending them to your British Airways Club account first.
